Know My Building - Case study

The Royal Bell

Challenge:
Built in 1666, this Grade II listed building had a £10M investment, to make it a home to a growing members community, with exclusive spaces to co-work, connect, and socialise, as well as four vibrant dining destinations, event spaces, and a fitness studio.

  • High-Precision LiDAR Scanning produced DWG files for planning permissions and design integration as well as producing accurate as-built records of the new internal structure.
  • O&M Manuals were replaced with a digital logbook, integrating maintenance schedules to ensure warranty compliance and created a searchable database of building components, maintenance schedules, and historical interventions providing improved long-term asset management and compliance tracking
  • Asset Tagging linked M&E systems, plant equipment, and materials to specifications and warranties and maintenance schedules reducing down time and costly out of warranty repairs.
  • Drone Surveys monitored construction progress throughout the project allowing for accurate remote reporting and stakeholder communication.
  • 3D Digital Twin in Handover Package delivered a virtual replica of the completed building. Application used for client walkthroughs and any dispute resolution, increasing client satisfaction and reduced post-handover issues.
